Elena Daoutsali

PostdocNL plays a crucial role in uniting and representing post-doctoral researchers across all Dutch institutions, giving visibility to a group that comprises a large part of the academic workforce but is often invisible. Being a PhD candidate and now a postdoc in the Netherlands, I have often found myself wanting to connect with other postdocs, sharing experiences and more importantly helping each other. In PostdocNL I will be involved in managing the website and its content. I see this opportunity as a way to amplify our mission: by creating timely, engaging updates that showcase our advocacy work, resources, and events, I hope to increase PostdocNL’s visibility and impact. Improving the website’s accessibility, storytelling and coherence will help connect post-docs across the Netherlands, and encourage them to share their experiences and become more involved.
