PostdocNL is developing guidance and recommendations on postdoc supervision. This guidance will provide advice on how to best support postdocs throughout their careers, whether they aspire to secure a faculty position or pursue opportunities outside of academia.
To ensure the guidance reflects best practices, PostdocNL has established a working group that is collecting postdoc policies from institutes across the Netherlands and abroad. These documents will help us identify effective strategies and allow us to combine them into one overarching document.
The guidance will also include practical advice for postdocs on how they can advocate for improved supervision and mentoring within their institutes.
