Postdocs play a key role in research, but their needs and challenges can easily go unnoticed. PostdocNL helps bring postdocs together, share experiences, and strengthen our position in the academic world. In my role, I will stay in touch with local postdoc networks that are active at research institutes in the Netherlands and help new initiatives get off the ground. I hope to make it easier for postdocs to connect, collaborate, and feel supported, no matter which institute they work at. This way, I hope that PostdocNL can make the postdoc experience more visible, valued, and rewarding.
